We live in a world where strife prevails as a norm and war surrounds us however surreptitiously, through ideas like competition, propriety, work, progress, the proverbial rat race or the need to climb the ladder of success. Where is the time to celebrate the essence of life... namely love? This book is both a celebration and a medium to mourn over that sometimes elusive, of ephemeral, almost always exuberant, enchanting, evocative and inspiring force called love. The English version is a translation of the Hindi original which holds the potential to become songs and is a tribute to the lyricists of old Bollywood films. It offers the ground for love to play out and pave its way beyond the barriers of custom, tradition, religion, age and the like, that souls may meet and experience bliss beyond the confines of expectations.
About Lavanya Prasad:
Lavanya Prasad is a Storyteller by profession and runs Talescope since March 2014, that works with children and adults using stories as a medium to connect.
Lavanya believes that knowledge that is not shared goes wasted, and she aims at sharing what she knows through Talescope. Anything that enhances any experience is amazing, and for this very reason, Talescopes sessions are always filled with music and movement, to suit the needs.
Talescope works with children and adults and partners with anybody or any organisation that would love to collaborate and enhance experiences through stories.
The stories narrated will make you think, laugh and learn a handful of words from different Indian languages. These Indian folk tales will bring one closer to the heritage of the region they come from.
Not to forget the rhymes. There's a rhyme about the white moon, there's a rhyme about the cham, cham rains, there's something about the chuk, chuk trains too! Squirrels, monkeys, crows and buffaloes. Also about the pappadams, dosas and vegetables. Fun, rhythm, beats and intonation are all important when we sing or recite these Indian rhymes. We'll end the session with a few relevant games.

Drawing is an art that can be perfected only with proper learning and practice. Many of us struggle with drawing, especially drawing in perspective. One who knows the perspective can easily recognize whether the drawing/painting was done with that knowledge.
In this indoor sketching workshop, you will be learning concepts of 1 & 2 point perspective with some sample drawings. Understand some of the techniques used for live sketching.
By the end of the workshop you will be completing a live sketch using the taught techniques.
