About the Workshop

Who doesn’t like colors, especially the colors of northern lights? Those soothing bright colors not only look wonderful to our naked eyes but also give us the inspiration to paint.

With the desire to paint comes challenges of using mixing colors, background, dry brushing etc.

In this workshop, we will be using black canvas to get the sense of northern lights at night. Understand the use of different colors for priming your canvas, brush strokes, application of layers and color mixing.

You will be taught a step-by-step technique of mixing and layering colors. The same technique can be used for any chosen subject(s).  It will indeed brighten up your living space.

What will be provided?

  • All materials will be provided
  • You can take home only your masterpiece (12” x 16” canvas board)
