Coffee Essence Workshop is basically coffee painting. Fabulous compositions can be made with just coffee and water on cartridge sheets.
The intriguing factor in this art form is how a simple coffee concoction is used to derive different tones, get various patterns in place and finally it sums up into an art work.
The workshop will show you how coffee can be used to create anything you desire from abstracts, graphics, and landscapes to even figurines!
After an introduction to coffee art and the scope as well as limitations of this medium, the participants will work on a landscape which will be a common composition for the whole group.

I manage to write on a daily basis and in few months my next book is going to be completed and published. My advice to all aspiring writers is to keep at it. Dont focus on bestsellers or whats supposed to be a brilliant, critically acclaimed book. Read stuff that makes you happy and keeps you engaged, write to get reactions from your readers and dont forget that everyones first draft is absolute shit. You have to edit something at least two to three times to make it beautiful. Ask your favourite author, theyll agree with me.

It has been an amazing and humbling journey where we were pampered by so much love, so many expectations and a wonderful experience. Our endeavour continues to create an ideal social place where people can meet, dream, discuss, collaborate and implement ideas.
Team Dialogues thanks all of you for this support. And we continue to dream :)
A story and a little puppet.
Whenever we listen to stories, we imagine how the characters would be. In this session we will make puppets after the storytelling.
How the puppet-making works:
TAiE wants children to discover the love of nature and stands by its mission and hence, the puppets will be made from materials like leaves, coconut shells, old cloth pieces, gloves, pieces of rope, etc. as far as possible.
This session will show children how they can have fun while making simple crafts in the form of puppets and still play with them and make more on their own at home!
While they may not look fancy and like store-bought toys, they will give children a sense of satisfaction as it will be a reflection of what they like.
TAiE does not believe in mass-production and children will not be "told what exactly they need to do"; rather they will be guided and encouraged to make the puppets in their own way as TAiE wants to cultivate a culture of thinking among children.
If you're looking for traditional or fancy puppets then you could get in touch for future sessions when we will be making more elaborate puppets. (Subscribe to TAiE events)

I also try to capture the canvas of my life in prose and one day intend to be a published poet. I have written few of them and am trying to reach a count sufficient enough to be bound in a book.
Its been 6 years in Bangalore now and I can say that I am a contented software professional. I had my fair share of ups and downs in both personal and professional life. I have kept my humble pursuit of adding new skillsets and undergoing new experiences with me. I enjoy reading poetry and I read almost everyone from Robert Frost, R L Stevenson to new upcoming poets. There are some I understand, some I don't. Thats what makes poetry beautiful, you don't have to understand them but feel them..
(Gargi, works at one of the Big 4, has published several poems in magazines and plans to publish her own book. She enjoys attending events at Dialogues and poetry events are her clear favourites.)
