Unfortunately, I couldnt quit for a little while. So I started exploring things to do in Bangalore. On one such hunt, I came across a Mothers Day event by the Goodwill Tribe where they were inviting people to come and write letters to mothers and motherly figures. This event was supposed to happen at Dialogues. I decided to go for it even though it was far away from home. I reached there an hour before my friend arrived and had a chance to properly look at the place and get its feel. I instantly fell in love. The place had a very positive vibe. I have always taken a great interest in art, books, travel, music and people. This place gave me all this and more! The simplicity, the colors, the plants and the lovely people called out to me, I knew that being associated with this place was going to make me the happiest.
Dialogues remained in my heart and mind for the longest time after that. But then life happened and my mind got distracted with other (unimportant) things. It was only last week, when I was travelling with a friend in Leh, that Dialogues came up again! We were talking about our biggest dreams and en-cashing our passion.. travelling the world and being happy, making a difference in this world and carving our own niche. This was when I told her about Dialogues and how the place made me feel. Her only response to that was Why dont you write them an email and tell them how you feel?. And I did exactly that. Not expecting a reply or a response, I wrote without thinking much. It was a very informal email with a lot of smileys, asking Dialogues if I could intern with them. Little did I know that these smileys would get me a reply from them! I was thrilled when I heard from one of the co-founders within a few hours saying that he would like to talk to me.
I came to Dialogues and the co-founder and I spoke- About how the place came to be, what the objectives of the place are etc. We thought that I could maybe help a little with writing for Dialogues and come and be around and see how the place works. It seemed perfect and I agreed without a moment of hesitation.
And thats how I ended up being a part of this happy place and I couldnt be happier!

A Heal Your Life workshop
Date: Jul 29, 2017
Author Richard Bach says in his book Illusions: Argue for your limitations and theyre yours.
Growing up, we all receive comments on our self-worth and abilities. We also have experiences that leave us with beliefs about every area of life- relationships, health, success, prosperity, and ourselves and our own value as a person. These comments and experiences, whether positive or negative, shape our beliefs about what is possible for us in life.
If there is something in YOUR heart you want to achieve, most likely it is something that will benefit others. Fortunately, you CAN recognize the beliefs that limit you and change them. Imagine that you are weeding the inner garden of yourself, lovingly and patiently releasing the old to plant the new seeds.
This is called clearing the old menu items. Clear the past and create new items for the Menu of Life!
