A Moon bathing & Meditation ceremony

 

The Moon represents our inner world, our hidden emotions, desires, our dreams, fears, and worries. It denotes our unconscious beliefs, our past, our connections with our mothers and our yin aspect.

 

The full moon sees a heightening of emotions, mental processes & dreams. Thus it offers us the ability to feel deeply, unravel the past to make connections, creatively unlock and express who we really are. Apart from being a powerful time for gratitude for all that we have brought to manifest, it is also a time to analyze and start letting go of what does not serve us anymore.

 

The September full moon is in Pisces, the sign of the dreamer, the intuitive, sensitive soul & the recluse. Being a water sign, emotions are further amplified. One may go through an illusionary phase, out of touch with reality. However, Pisces is also a sign that asks you to transcend the rational mind, open yourself up to spiritual possibilities, make sense of chaos, acknowledge paradoxes and accept both the dark and the light within you.

 

Lets commune under this full moon to ground ourselves and allow ourselves to feel & heal. Let's shine light into our darkest corners and own our shadows. Let's accept them, use our subtle senses to navigate them fearlessly, initiate resolution and letting go. Let's gather, moon-bathe, meditate and have conversations within this beautiful moon-circle of like-minded souls.

 

Facilitated by our teacher, Sheetal Jayaraj at Dhyaana in Indiranagar.

 

Requisites:

-Open to everyone

-Please carry a yoga mat with you.

-Please have your food by 6 pm on that day.

-Wear comfortable clothing.

-Carry warm clothes & mosquito repellant if you like.
