Banjaras and Gypsies, it's a patriotic time of the year and let's celebrate this special day at the Scotland of India (Coorg) We are backpacking and starting our expedition to Coorg and fulfill our mission of trekking, camping, bonfire & amazing Coorg dishes. Let's do the flag hosting at the mountain top.

We will take care of everything, you remember the mission "Fun & Adventure", Phew...that's all.

 

It's a great way to celebrate the weekend at the picturesque scenery and adrenaline pumping sports organized for you while living under the stars in the campsite with delicious meals, late night music, and bonfire.

 

Do not wait to think, you need this away from the noise and traffic of the city to absorb fresh air and rejuvenate your body.

Itinerary

Day 0 

  • Start journey from Bangalore, Board the bus from the below pick up points.

    • Manyata Tech Park -bus stop 9:30 pm
    • Kalyan Nagar - 9:45 pm
    • KR Puram (Under the flyover) - 10:20 pm
    • Marathalli Bridge (Kalamandir shop) - 10:45 pm
    • Silk board junction (opposite to Prashant hotel) - 11:15 pm

Day 1

  • Reach resort early morning and freshen up.
  • Fill our energy by having a healthy breakfast at Resort and start our travel for trekking to Nishani Motte Trek [Easy- Medium trek]
  • Relax at Top and come back for late lunch at the campsite, rest for the noon.
  • Enjoy evening Tea & Coffee
  • Dinner & Bonfire
  • Fun activities
  • Sleep at your beautiful camps

Day 2

  • Morning sunrise from your camp, it will be misty and foggy in morning
  • Breakfast
  • Start travel from Campsite to Coorg nearby attraction - Namdroling Monastery Golden Temple.
  • Reach Bangalore around 11 pm 

~End of the trip with lots of memories & friendships

Banjara Gypsy is the nicest and most caring group of people you will come across. They are committed whole heartedly to making your trip a damn memorable one. The best bit is they love it so much themselves they do the same things for their guests/new friends. The whole thing feels like one of the those trips you'd make with yr buddies with all the cool stuff (planned and unplanned ;)) for you and taken care of minus all the crappy discussions and arguments.If you're someone who likes to have a happy memorable break, doesn't want to spend too much, is ok to step down a little from the luxury of the cities and ensure you make the most of the little time one gets for themselves then this is the team for you!I know I loved my trip with the Banjara Gypsy! :) - by Sarthak Mittal for Camping at Coorg - Banjara Gypsy .

I got this opportunity with Banjara and gypsy to enjoy that 2 days of my life to the fullest .I never imagined trips like this do exist that too it's too safe for girls too .I will recommend everyone that buy this trip package with Banjara gypsy without wasting a single sec n trust me it will be like hell awesome ...and new banjaras (unknown bunch of people) will be more close and trust worthy . seriously it was too adventurous for me . thankyou so much Banjara and gypsy .love you guys - by Prachi Bansal for Camping at Coorg - Banjara Gypsy .

Attended new year event at "The Woods" courtesy Banjara & Gypsy. Had a fun filled and happening new year for me and my friend. Place was spacious that even though it was accommodating large number of people, it didnt seem like. Food was awesome. Coupled with the camping activities there were other activities organized to keep the audience wooed. My personal favorites were - bonfire, camping, sky lantern and adventure activities i.e. Ziplining and rope course. Looking forward to attend more event. I attended one of the camping event organized by Banjara and Gypsy. It was super fun and my first camping experience turned out to be memorable with kayaking, karaoke night and awesome chit chats under the starry sky:) the best part for me personally was the sky lantern part which I made a boomerang with my favourite number:) look forward to more such events wishing u best of luck.. I got oppotunity to attend one of the camps by Banjara & Gypsy, I was with my friends and it was so much fun with different activities like Kayaking, Zip line . The part I liked most was when we all flew the Sky Lanterns in the sky. Crowd was good and we gotta met lot of people and all became like a bigger friends group.

So glad I attended. As a Scottish girl travelling alone I was a bit hesitant to go to an event where I would know anybody but the orginiser was super friendly and exceptionally helpful and made me feel very looked after!The vineyard is quiet and a nice spot to take some time outside the busy city.
