The band's raw, riff based, hard rock sound draws heavily from their influences such as Planet of Zeus, Orange Goblin, Black Sabbath, Rage Against The Machine, Alabama Thunderpussy, and other two piece rockers like The Black Keys, Royal Blood, etc. The guys have been playing the circle as part of other bands since 2013. In June 2015, they've come together to try out the rock-duo set-up.
'BEARD OF HARMONY' - Sreejith (The Beard) and Ruben Simon have spread music together for a year now. Sreejith (lead vocals) plays rhythm guitar and Ruben Simon leads on the guitar and sings the vocal harmonies. Together, they sing their hearts out on this acoustic and melodious journey. Their voices are a perfect blend to douse the thirst for soul in music. Their influences in music travel through genres and are inspired by many great artists, ranging from Simon & Garfunkel to Metallica. They believe that music holds no boundaries in bringing people together. They share this message by performing live.

To define our genre, we fuse multiple rock based genres such as Alternative, Pop-Rock, Progressive and Punk to create Contra-Rock. Fun, fresh and excited, we're a 5-member band hailing from the modest middle-of-nowhere setting of Kanmanike Gutter, Kengeri, Bengaluru. Our secret agenda behind playing music and entertaining people is to exhibit how music touches us and to make our music touch everyone else the same way.

@[258451488046:274:THE DOWN TRODDENCE]
The Down Troddence, popularly known as TDT is a six piece Thrash metal band, originally from Kannur district in Kerala, India. The band consists of Munz (Vocals), Varun Raj (Guitar), Nezer Ahemed (Bass Guitar, Backing Vocals), Sushin Shyam (Keyboards, Backing Vocals), Ganesh Radhakrishnan (Drums), and Advaith Mohan (Guitar). The band released its debut album titled How Are You? We Are Fine, Thank You on 1 January 2014 to rave reviews
The band started off as a two-man studio project by Varun and Munz in 2008, called Ultimatyum. After roping in Sushin (who had collaborated with Varun on a previous project called 25 Aug), Prayag (drums), Rinoy Balan (guitars), and Shaib (bass), The Down Troddence as a full-fledged band became a reality. Due to the departure of Shaib due to personal reasons, Nezer came in to take over bass duties. Following the release of their first single "Death Vanity", Prayag was replaced by Ganesh (previously with Progressive Metal band Purple Blood) on drums.
The band got its first big boost with the release of the music video for their single "Shiva". The video received the Best Music Video award at the IndieGo South Asian Music Awards. Following a series of victories at college fests in and around South India, the band went on a short hiatus during which time the various band members shifted base to other cities. Munz, Nezer and Ganesh shifted to Bangalore, while Sushin moved to Chennai to work as the studio programmer for famed South Indian music director Deepak Dev. At this juncture, Rinoy also departed the band and was replaced by Advaith Mohan (of Chennai-based band Iterate), who is also based in Bangalore.
