We all have our reasons to write. What would help us along the way is a method to follow.
What do we do in these three hours?
We talk a lot; about the books, we have read, about the stories and characters that have stayed, about genres of writing and what appeals to us the most
We then move to focus on the process of writing. We start with a prompt and move on from there, step by step, to a full-fledged story.
We learn how to create characters, write dialogue, develop a plot and setting to your story.
We continue to write even after these three hours at the workshop. Trust me, there is no better way to get better at writing than writing itself.
We write and share our samples with our fellows at monthly informal gatherings. We work on the feedback and suggestions and make our stories read even better.
