The Anthargange trek is one of the most sought after trek around Bangalore. It's the combination of trekking and cave exploration that drives the excitement factor. Anthargange hill is completely surrounded by boulders. Located around 65km from Bangalore near Kolar, this hill is at an altitude of 1712m above sea level. Anthargange night trip is perfect for trekking and night cave exploration. Around 3km trek is pretty moderate as the journey beings by making your way through broken rocks and tricky path in the boulders to finally reaching the cave site to probe. This amazing experience of making your way through the formation and crawling at times because of the cave's volcanic rock formation is a tale worth sharing.

The experience at Anthargange cave takes you back to the primeval times. And you finally get to be a "Cave Man". The effort pays off as the feeling of contentment starts settling in post the completion of the trek. Unwind by the bonfire and watch the night's magic captivate you, if luck favours, you might catch a glimpse of some wild animals around. As the dusk fades away, make your way back through the cave to the base.

This adventure activity at Antargange is a must have experience around Bangalore.

We went for a day trek through Escape2explore. Starting from Bangalore at around 6:30am, we reached Ramanagara base at 8:30am. We were 6 people and were the only ones for the day trek that day. They offered breakfast where people from the previous night's trek were also present. Breakfast included Idli Sambhar, pakoras and bread omelette with tea. It was normal. After the breakfast, we started with rappelling. We had a couple of guys from their side to help us do it and it was definitely worth an experience. We had great fun and had an amazing start to the outing.

After rappelling, we started with the trek. One guy from their side took us through the way. The cool weather with a slight drizzle made the trekking experience wonderful. Clicking pictures in the meanwhile, we took around an hour to reach the top. It started raining at the top adding cherry to the cake. After spending some time, we started descending. It became a bit slippery due to the rain but it was not difficult to keep your feet firmly and get down.

After the trek, we got back to the base at around 2pm to have lunch. They asked our choice and we opted for vegetarian food. We were famishing till that time and the food was good. It was home-made food having Aloo sabzi, dry cabbage vegetable, paratha, rice, pulao and curd rice. They offered some fruits as well. Post lunch, we went for shooting for some time.

Some of us were interested to go for Go Karting and ATV. There was a Play zone nearby and their guy himself took us there. It was not included in the package though and we paid separately there. It was equally good to add to our fun. We then proceeded to the last thing - Kayaking. The guy properly instructed us about how to do it. The water was very dirty though due to rains. Nevertheless, we went for it and it was fun to kayak through.

In the evening, we had tea and returned back to Bangalore around 7:30pm. We would have reached earlier had we not gone for Go Karting. But it was worth our time.

Overall, it was a day well spent and it felt like doing so many things in one day. They handled everything professionally and we had a great day out. :)
