It was definitely one of the the great experiences. We thoroughly enjoyed it. Arrangement for food and snacks was really amazing. Especially the evening camping and barbecue was out of ordinary, usually folks don't go to this extent. Here are few items that you may consider to make it even more enthralling:1. Day 1 breakfast: It was limited to 3 idlis which is a bit damper because most people eat a bit more than this and being denied for additional serving makes it little dissatisfying.2. Day 2 Beach Fun: Most folks got 5-10 minutes to have fun in the beach before they were asked to return. Some were yet to venture into the sea. This was quite disappointing. I understand that time constraints was due to starting late from the camp and the guide had personal work because of which he wanted to leave soon. I see two options:(a) If beach activity is rescheduled for day 1, it would be great as there was lot of time on day 1 post lunch.(b) On day 2, ask people to park the kayaks in the shed. Pull a rope across the river using one kayak. Ask people to wear life jacket and swim across the river with assistance of rope. This will be fun as well as it will free up the kayaks when folks are enjoying the beach.3. You may involve activity to jump off the kayak in the middle of the river, especially where the river splits and it is wide. This can add up as additional fun activity without adding to the cost. Otherwise, continuously kayaking sometimes becomes boring.Hope you'll find these suggestions useful. - by Ravi Ghosh for 25KM 2D/1N Backwaters Kayaking and Camping is back .
