    The Pushpagiri or Subramanya Hills (also referred as Kumaraparvatha) is the second highest peak of Kodagu, and sixth highest peak in Karnataka. About 36 kilometres from Somwarpet and 1.5 kilometres from Kumaralli, it is located amid the jungle. Trekking can be done from the base, Bhagati, which is a 10 km, three-hour walk. Otherwise, trekkers can cross Kukke Subramanya, located in Dakshina Kannada district of Pushpagiri Range. The trekking zone can be approached from Pushpagiri or from Kumaraparvata peaks.

    The Eastern entrance can be reached from Beedehalli via Heggademane temple and the Western entrance from Kukke Subramanya via Giri gadde. However, the entrance through Beedehalli is less strenuous.

    Total Trekking Distance : 20 KMS (Uphill from Somwarpet Side and Downhill towards Kukke Subramanya side. Trekking to KP from Somwarpet Side is less strenuous) 

    Trekking Difficulty Level : Challenging 

    Stay : Camping Tents Near Bhatara Mane. Participants should help us to carry Tents (2 People tents weights 2 kgs, Sharing with 2 people)

    Note: Washroom Access: Only on Saturday Morning at Standard Hotel. You will have access to toilets (Very basic) near Bhatara Mane.

  • About 280 kms away from the city Bangalore, Kumar Parvatha is found in the Coorg district of Karnataka. It is the highest peak in the Pushpagiri Wildlife Sanctuary. It is also the 6th highest peak of Karnataka, and one of the best treks near Bangalore.     Day 1 (Saturday 06:00 AM)– Reach Pushpagiri Base Camp -Freshen Up at Standard Hotel - Trek to Kumara Parvatha (KP) Peak and Reach Shesha Parvatha - Downhill Trek to Bhatara Mane for night Camping 

    Day 2 (Sunday 8:00 AM) - After breakfast Start Downhill Trek to reach Kukke Subramanya Temple - Visit Kumaradhara River - Return to Bangalore

    • 01:00 PM - Reach summit and enjoy the beauty of Kumara Parvatha & Shesha parvatha peak
    • 02:30 PM - Start downhill Trek to reach Bhatara Mane for Camping
    • 06:00 PM - Reach Bhatara Mane and Pitch camping tents
    • 07:30 PM - Dinner at Bhatara Mane
    • 08:30 PM - Campfire Stories

    Day 2:

    • 07:30 AM – Early Breakfast 
    • 08:00 AM – Start Downhill Trek towards Kukke Subramanya
    • 12:00 PM - Reach Kumaradhara River for relaxation dip 
    • 02:00 PM – Return back to Bangalore after Lunch 
    • 09:00 PM – Reach Bangalore

Simply Horrible. - Will not recommend even to my enemy. Bad - Not worth my time So-So. Good-some, bad-some. Amusing. Definitely worth attending. Wow, what an experience!
