Terms & Conditions

Terms & Conditions

In order to ensure safely and comfort of everybody, and to have a pleasant Meetup, all of us are expected to follow certain rules listed below:

  • No alcohol & smoking during Treks & adventure activities & travelling. There would be separate window and space (usually at night) to have drinks at campsite/resort/hotel for interested people.
  • We assure awesome memories every trip, but not awesome facilities! We provide basic facilities in terms of food, travel & accommodation. In some places, especially for treks & forest related Meetups, expect not so neat wash rooms/change rooms, and basic but edible food :)
  • We wouldn’t want to waste time in sitting at a restaurant/dhaba and munch our food for hours during trips. So we pack our food whenever possible to avoid un-necessary delays. For the meetups where food is included in overall package, restaurant/dhaba it is expected to place an order for less than 120/- per person . Above this, the extra amount would be borne by the individual.
  • In some Meetups, especially treks involving wild forest, expect leeches and other insects. However we can take precautions to avoid them - we discuss these things in our trip's WhatsApp group.
  • Our itinerary is flexible. It may happen we do not cover all the places mentioned in the itinerary because of unpredictable reasons like weather, wild animal presence, abrupt blocking of sites by forest department, delay in travel, traffic conditions etc. In most cases, if the time permits, we try to travel to an alternative place. But in some cases, we may have to skip a place altogether.
  • Behavioral Terms & Conditions:
  • Each participant is expected to behave in a gentle and civil manner.
  • Avoid getting too personal or physical with anyone.
  •  Avoid discussing sensitive matters like SEX, POLITICS and RELIGION.
  • Don’t involve yourself in any argument or unacceptable social behavior.
  •  Our Meetup is not a forum to indulge in dating.

Reviews for Organizer 4.5

After 2 years of delaying and decaying my plans to Goa, one fine day I see an event in the posted by Muddie Trails and I registered for the event. There were a lot of expectations and fears from this Goa trip.

I have to say my Goa trip has become a memorable experience and have loads of beautiful things to say about the trip. Thanks to Muddie trails. Our organizer (now friend) Shradha has done a great job in managing itinerary and making things hassle free.

Why Muddie Trails:

- Avoid the hassle of booking rooms and tickets for to and fro.

- Avoid the risk of getting cheated. Goa is that place.

- Reduce the travel cost to travel from place to place in and around Goa.

- Not getting lost - what to see and what to look for.

- Flexibility

What we did:

On the first day of our trip, the driver did a great job by helping us reach Panjim 3 hours earlier than expected. We had to few hours to spare. We visited the Aguada fort, which wasn't on the itinerary. Later we had a normal lunch(keep your expectations on the check regarding food. It's not a food festival). Later we headed back to Calangute beach and did water sports like banana ride, Parasailing, and few other things(The budget for this things are on you). Later we were about to head to Baga beach party. As it was a long weekend, the club was flooded with people. So there was a slight twist in the plan. (These things happen). We did the same party in our room, with all the music and dance and AC on. I could feel Goa in my blood already.

On the second day, we were headed to the highlight of the event. We traveled almost an hour to a secluded island. Throughout the journey, all the needs were fulfilled(Water, food, cool drinks and BEER!). We were lucky to see a few dolphins. Then we went to a part of the sea and did snorkeling. It was once in a lifetime experience(Fishing does really happen if you are lucky enough). Then we reached an island, and it was completely secluded and was stretched for more than 3 KMS. The long stroll along the beach, with hot sand, touching your feet and the waves occasionally kissing was a beautiful experience. Later we had food provided(Once again, keep your expectations in check), which was Ok,Ok. Then later we returned back to our rooms provided, with lots of sand in shirt and pants. Later that night, we reached Baga beach. It was a great scene to watch. The food at night was once again on us.

The third day we came to Calangute beach, shopped and surveyed around the beach for few hours and spent some quality time with all the beautiful people who were part of our trip.

The trip came to a halting end, with emotional hugs and smiles. Three days just flew by and all the best moments of life were packed in those three days.

If you see this event from Muddie Trails to Goa, do yourself a favor it. Go for it.
