Dialogues Cafe invites all the book lovers to its August edition of Dialogues with books. We host this delightful gathering every second Saturday of the month!

At Dialogues with Books, the participants read and discuss their favorite book from the specified genre to some of the fellow bibliophiles.

It is a 2-hour event where we divide time equally between the participants and we prefer each participant to contribute through reading a passage from their favorite book. We also allow free flowing discussions which is moderated by our host. Those who do not wish to read can also attend the event and participate in the discussions.

The theme of the August episode is Crime and Mystery.

About the host

Amrutha Varshini:

Amrutha can have biryani for all the three meals in the day- in case anyone has the temerity to doubt her Hyderabadi origins. She travels and reads - both to escape people, and when not doing these, she tries to be a civil servant. One of those omnivorous readers who read whatever they can lay their hands on and then analyze it, she is as affected by the content as by style. She currently lives in Bangalore and tries very hard not to look down upon people who don't read.
