You will find animals freely moving in natural environment though they are in captivity. Bannerghatta has been used as a rehabilitation facility for tigers and lions rescued from circuses. This facility has India’s first Lion and Tiger Safari. The enclosures recreate their natural habitat, and offer you wonderful photographic opportunities. We will be having the following in the itinerary.

We will be staying in Banerghatta Nature Camp, Jungle Lodges Resorts. It is a great place to be. Bannerghatta Nature Camp is a wonderful place to get acquainted with the great outdoors. Hill View Restaurant is situated near the Mirza Hill at Bannerghatta National Park. Food is served at the roof- top of the restaurant. The restaurant also comes with facilities like amphitheatre, conference hall (audiovisual room), open area to play.
Things to carry
Telephoto lenses – preferably above 300 mm
Carry fully charged batteries for your camera / flash.
Carry battery charger. Carry extra pack of camera batteries
Carry backup memory cards / HDD storage drives, Laptop
Carry a bean bag to stabilize your gears while shooting from safari vehicle
Carry a big towel / cloth to protect your gear from dust
Carry a big cloth / bandanna / scarf to protect you from the dust
It is advisable to carry basic first aid along with you.
Please carry Odomos to keep you protected from mosquito bites.
Carry a pair of good binoculars

Our Wildlife Photography Expert will hand hold you at every possible step for a better understanding of perspectives, camera controls and how to make use of the best opportunities to get better images. Image processing workshop
To maximize and complete your photographic learning, join our evening session of informal discussions on digital image processing. Our Expert will work on few of his own images or a few of yours (which you have clicked during the day) and demonstrate various techniques of image processing to give a final shape to your artwork. The following will be discussed
RAW files processing
Histogram and exposure control
Colour correction methods
Cropping and image resizing
Sharpening, cloning, dodging and burning
Balamahesh is a hardcore nature enthusiast and a skilled wildlife photographer. He has traveled across the country and more extensively in the forests of the southern part of India. His images have been appreciated and acknowledged in various national magazines, news papers and books. He is extremely passionate about amphibians, reptiles and he specializes in macro photography. He is a skilled trainer, regularly conducts workshops and shares his knowledge about natural history to school children in the interest of conservation. Bala has done his Masters in Physics from University of Mysore. Apart from being a skilled photography artist, he is also a talented Bansuri / Flute player. He is one of the most dynamic & talented team leaders for South Indian expeditions of DCP.

With an absolute synergy in the vision and mission, DCP Expeditions have joined this venture as a knowledge partner. This Project is about creating an engaging photo story about conservation / environment / ecosystem as the body of work. The theme for this year is Life at National Parks.
Participants need to write an abstract on the proposed story line (following the given theme) and submit the same to email@example.com along with 5 representative images, which should be photographers original work. The images submitted should be on the theme of conservation photography which helps the jury to understand and decide on the capability of the candidate to take up the proposed project. Applications need to reach us on or before 5th July 2017.

The team spotted many kinds of snakes. Macro subjects were in plethora and the team feasted on some great photography subjects. The participants had good scope to photograph the sightings. Overall an eventful trip which the participants thoroughly enjoyed.
