Pragati Maidan is the largest exhibition centre of Delhi. This was inaugurated by the then Prime Minister of India, Indira Gandhi. The layout of the project was designed by Raj Reval.
Pragati Maidan is as big as the name sounds. A huge area of 150 acres contribute to Pragati Maidan.
Pragati Maidan is the home to mega events such as trade fairs, book fairs and other shows. At time of events, this a one stop platform for food, shopping and leisure as well.
It is owned and managed by the India Trade Promotion organisation (ITPO), the government body.
The place is well accessible from metro and bus service.
