The International Dolls Museum is a large collection of dolls which was set up by K. Shankar Pillai, a political cartoonist. Today, there are about 6500 dolls from around 85 countries. This collection of dolls is divided into two sections- dolls from the European countries and the dolls from other Asian countries, Middle East, Africa and India. It is a childhood joyride as it brings out the child in us while viewing these dolls and it is truly a nostalgic experience. You will find a lot of kids, along with their parents and also a lot of foreign tourists who come here to see the dolls from their native country.
