One of the most famous landmarks of Bangalore, Vidhana Soudha reflects the architecture of the Neo-Dravidian times. It was built to showcase indigenous architecture and guide the new age of democracy. The Vidhana Soudha houses the State Legislature and the Secretariat of Karnataka. The magnificent white building is spread over 60 acres of land and is also the largest Legislative building of India. The building looks breathtakingly beautiful on Sunday evenings and on public holidays, when it is floodlit.
