It was a bright sunny morning and Vaibhav hated it. So he slept again. He loves potential energy, hates kinetic energy. Laying in bed he scribbled what he calls bookmark moments of life. Today he calls them jokes.
Come see him perform them and experience the release of endorphins.

THAKARA (Alternative Ambient Folk-Rock) - Malayalam.
+ Early Set by Mahesh Raghunandan (Singer-Songwriter/Indie Rock)
Ft. Ramanan Chandramouli (Guitar).
...If you're looking for something definitely original, look no further!
THAKARA is an Alternative Ambient Folk-Rock band that has a strong political and social conscience. The band has emerged as a unique voice that uses music to make a statement about the layman's socio-political views. This feisty and talented band, fronted by James Thakara, captured Kerala's attention in early 2012. From political commentaries like "Koran's anthem" and the promo song "GvQ" for the movie Koothara - a song about the great Indian political circus released during the general elections in 2014 to clarion calls for humanity like "Puttu Paattu", this movement opens a new door for music as a tool for cultural/social/political engagement. No wonder then, that they are a college crowd and festival favourite in South India - as they represent the voice of the youth and the common man. The lyrics are in Malayalam, the native tongue of James Thakara and the lyrics are simple, everyday parlance mixed with folklore.
Having received unparalleled public appreciation and media attention (the band has been very well received by the internet community, especially on YouTube), James Thakara developed the band's voice and sound further until they performed a very successful debut at the Music Mojo Season 4 in 2015.
There has been no looking back since.
EARLY SET: will be performed by singer-songwriter Mahesh Raghunandan, who has become a favourite with music lovers in the city, with his blend of blues and folk rock. He is a prolific songwriter and skilled vocalist, who has also fronted his own band, Mahesh & the Mix. Mahesh Raghunandan is a singer, songwriter and musician from Bangalore, quickly coming to be regarded as one of the top upcoming songwriters in the indie scene. Besides his solo career, Mahesh is influenced by a wide range of musicians and genres, and is often involved in multiple collaborative projects. Mahesh has supported international artists such as Lucy Rose, Luke Sital-Singh and prominent artists in the country such as The Kutle Khan Project, Parvaaz, The Raghu Dixit Project among many others.
